Harry Leary Turbo Seat Restoration

One of the most desirable and hard to find items in Old School BMX, is the Harry Leary Turbo seat or saddle. These seats were made by Kashimax in the early 80s, they are covered in suede and stamped with the DiamondBack logo.

Being covered in suede meant they wore out, and it’s almost impossible to find one in a decent condition.

Hello, I really enjoyed this restoration page. I am thinking of trying to do the hot foiling into the suede. I was wondering if you made the die or had it made somewhere? I was thinking of doing some of my other diamond back seats because I always loved my suede seat on my HLT back in 84. Any information would help and would be appreciated.

    Thanks
